A 40 year-old security guard joined the instant lotto millionaires club as he claimed on October 19 the P47,959,961.40 Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Mega Lotto 6/45 jackpot last October 17.

The winner from San del Monte City, Bulacan, married, with two children, is the 39th winner since January of the Mega Lotto 6/45 jackpot.
Offcials of the State State Charity agency said the security guard, a frequent church-goer, will donate a portion of his fortune to his parish church, pay his low-cost housing loan, and deposit the rest while making plans, among others.

The said winner, a regular lotto bettor, placed two P10 "Lucky Pick" (LP) bets. An LP bet means that the numbers were chosen by the computer. He correctly guessed the winning combinations 09-07-22-16-10-40.
According to PCSO General Manager Jose Ferdinand M. Roxas, the winner placed his bets in Novaliches, Quezon City. He said the lucky bettor came to the PCSO to days later, presenting his winning ticket for validation and verification.  "I am really happy for the security guard. I hope he use his winnings wisely, help his relatives, provide for the rainy days, and thank God for his good fortune," said Rojas.
